For “Teddy BearTuesday” in 1B today the kids interviewed their animals, wrote about them, made a Venn diagram with a friend to compare how their bears were alike and different, and read with their bears. They finished the day with their favorite part …the stem challenge to build chairs for their bears out of paper and tape only with no instructions or help.

A big thank you to the Peoria Park District for their assistance in bringing the volunteers from the Peoria Symphony Guild to MGS today! The first graders loved the musical puppet show of Peter and The Wolf and getting to see the puppets up close.
