Recognizing 7th grader, Levi Mallow, for his volunteer spirit and dedication to serving his country. Levi is a cadet airman with the Illinois National Guard. He dedicates his time every Tuesday, one Saturday a month and extended time during the summer. Thank you, Levi, and well done!

For our Pi Day celebration, the students earned the chance to pie the staff because they brought in over 400 items to donate to Open Arms beating our goal of 314 items. Way to go, 6th graders!!!

Mrs. Borlin organized a fun Pi Day event for the 6th graders! They got to enjoy a piece of pie and the top 5 students who memorized the most numbers in pi got to do the honors of pieing Mrs. Borlin, Mrs. Karcher, Mrs. Anglin, Mr. Damery, and Dr. Lee! Thank you to all who brought in pies and helped out serving them! A big thank you to Mrs. Borlin for organizing this event!

Creator's Corner in Room 62 is open and full of creators. Fifth grade students are taking things apart, repurposing parts and pieces, and learning a lot about how things work. The room is noisy and chaotic, but the discoveries are priceless.

Three groups of 6th graders competed in the 2023 ASCE Bridge Contest at the Riverfront Museum today and got 8th, 10th, & 13th out of 26 teams. A great finish for our first time competing!
