Parade of Champions at MGS! Good Luck to the Softball team as they participate at State tomorrow morning at 10am!





A classic game of Rock, Paper, Scissors works wonders for teaching how to calculate accuracy percentage. We were preparing for the STEM challenge we will be taking part in tomorrow in honor of Homecoming. Look at these scientists/mathematicians collecting data!!


Today 2B did a Mystery Science activity discussing the properties of matter. We worked with partners to design and construct a hat to protect us from the sun and rain using just a few supplies.





Congratulations to the Cross County team on a great performance at the Tazwood Conference Meet. The girl’s team finished in 4th place and the boy’s team finished in 2nd place! Emersyn Hutchison finished 3rd overall and Zack Born is the conference champ!

State bound again! MGS softball wins 6-0 and advances to the State Tournament for the 2nd straight year! Congrats ladies!

The Cross Country team had another great last night at the Germantown Hills Invitational. More than half the team ran personal best times! We also had 10 runners earn medals in their individual races and the boys varsity team finished in 3rd place! Boys open finished 2nd!




MGS 8th Graders will take on Washington D.C. May 18- May 20, 2023!
There will be another parent informational meeting next Wednesday, September 14th at 7pm MGS room 41 to learn more about the trip. If your 8th grader is already signed up for the trip, no need to come.
