MGS is celebrating Black History Month—a time to recognize and honor the incredible achievements, contributions, and rich culture of African Americans throughout history. This month reminds us of the importance of learning about and understanding the stories that shape our world today. We would like to take a moment to spotlight the founder of Black History Month, Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Dr. Woodson was a historian, educator, and passionate advocate for the study of Black history. In 1926, he established Negro History Week, which was the precursor to what we now celebrate as Black History Month. His goal was to ensure that the rich history and achievements of Black Americans were recognized and shared with the world. Thanks to his vision, Black History Month is now celebrated every February across the United States and around the world. As we celebrate Black History Month, let's also take a moment to reflect on the struggles and sacrifices made by countless individuals in the fight for equality and justice. Many people, both in the past and today, have fought, and continue to fight, for a world where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Let's carry this spirit of remembrance and action throughout the month and beyond. Together, we can continue to make our world a better place for all. Happy Black History Month!

KRISPY KREME DELIVERY RESCHEDULE! Krispy Kreme let us know today that their main production line is broken and repair was delayed because of parts and technician availability. As a result, we have rescheduled our Krispy Kreme delivery for next Thursday, Feb 20th, 3-5:30pm in the MGS cafeteria.
