Fore! In honor of the Summer Olympics, student engineers in 5th grade designed and created models of mini-golf holes. We learned about Newton's 3rd Law of Motion as well as the history of golf in the Summer Olympics. After the engineers finished building their models, we played a round of mini-golf, giving everyone the opportunity to try out each one.

Attention future kindergarten families: If you have not registered your child for kindergarten yet, please contact the office by 5/22 if possible. Yesterday was day 3 & our final day in the DC. area. We visited Mt. Vernon, MLK Jr. Memorial, FDR Memorial, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum & ended at Dave & Busters before heading home. We had a whirlwind of a few days but saw so much!

Second day in D.C. yesterday did not disappoint! Our group got to see the presidential motorcade leave the White House, the inside of the White House, WWII Memorial, Capital Building, Library of Congress, the Constitution & Declaration of Independence at the Archives & a ghost tour in Alexandria! We are exhausted, but it's so worth it!
