
The Girls Cross Country Team finished 3rd at Sectionals and earned a place in State Meet next weekend! This is the first girls team to qualify for state in 12 years! MGS also had 2 boys qualify individually! Congratulations to all and good luck at State!



The Metamora Kids Wrestling Club will be opening registration for the 2023-2024 season soon! Please see attached flyer for more information!

The MGS parking lot and playground blacktop will be getting resurfaced & relined this weekend. The lots will be closed starting Friday morning through Tuesday morning (it will be open for school). Unfortunately, any cars parked in the lot during this time will be towed. Please do not walk on any of the blacktops this weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

🐝Last week the PTO and Student Council joined forces to spotlight our unBEElievable Food Service Staff at MGS. The Student Council created a bulletin board with our Food Service Staff names, PTO put up posters in the cafeteria, and treated the group to Honey Vanilla Bean Cheesecakes from Triple Dipple Cheesecakes!

Coach Dirks and some members of the Cross Country team ran a 5k to help support the Lowry family and the Kare's Foundation! What a great way to start the weekend!






A Huge thank you to our Foundation for the purchase of these new VR headsets. Some of our students got the chance to try them out today.




8th grade students explored different career options, from Agriculture, to Education, to Healthcare, to Manufacturing & Engineering to Public Service, today at Career Spark. Always so many hands-on, interactive booths for them to visit!









Great job by the Cross Country team in their last race of the season at the Limestone Rocket Invitational! Both the girls and boys teams came up just short of earning a trophy but there were numerous personal best times and lots of medals earned! Way to go Redbirds!
